What will I learn?

The MSc in Buddhist Studies offers a truly multidisciplinary foundation in the field. The programme will introduce you to ancient and modern Buddhism, as well as the variety of ways you can study Buddhist cultures, including:artmaterial culturetextsideas and practicesethicsphilosophyThe programme will be taught by some of the leading scholars in Buddhist Studies from across several schools at the University of Edinburgh. You will benefit from the breadth and range of this expertise, particularly in areas of South Asian, Southeast Asian, and East Asian Buddhism. You will also be able to specialise in an area of your own particular interest.
