What will I learn?

Our BA Business programmes are designed with your career aspirations in mind, offering flexibility and a broad range of opportunities to tailor your studies. Build a strong foundation in your first two years (Levels 7 & 8) with our newly introduced common modules where you'll focus on the essentials in business and marketing studies. For your third year (Level 9) onwards, you'll have the freedom to choose your area of specialism. Discover your passion and focus on the areas that excite you the most. Whether you stick with your initial plan or explore new pathways within the Business School, the choice is yours. The BA (Hons) Business with HRM has been refreshed to equip you with the skills and knowledge to thrive in today’s rapidly evolving global economy. Alongside core business and principles, you will specialise in HRM while mastering AI-driven decision-making, developing entrepreneurial strategies, and gaining practical insights that are directly relevant to real-world business challenges.

Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants are expected to meet one of the following entry requirements: Scottish Highers with a standard requirement of ABBB, or a minimum of CCC. Applicants with CC may also be considered if they have successfully completed an approved access programme such as the UWS Foundation Academy, Foundation Apprenticeship, UWS Next Steps to University module, Routes for All, Top-Up, or LEAPS. Alternative qualifications include BCC at A Levels, H1H2H2H2 in the Irish Leaving Certificate, 24 points in the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma), SWAP Access to Humanities with BBB, or an Access to HE Diploma with BB.
