This degree programme was accredited in 2017 by the Joint Board of Moderators (JBM) comprising the Institution of Civil Engineers, Institution of Structural Engineers, Institute of Highway Engineers, the Chartered Institution of Highways and Transportation and the Permanent Way Institution on behalf of the Engineering Council. For the purposes of fully meeting the academic requirement for registration as a Chartered Engineer (CEng). Combining state-of-the-art technology with fundamental engineering, this programme will develop your knowledge and skills to tackle global challenges. With a Design Centre and the Makerspace, you’ll be able to apply your new skills in practical facilities. Enjoy working alongside students from other engineering disciplines, so you graduate with interdisciplinary experience. In your final year you’ll deepen your knowledge with a project that can be linked to industry. Your degree will begin mostly with examinations, before shifting to continuous assessment in project work during later years.
