This industry-driven practical postgraduate degree equips you with the creative and technical skills to thrive in today’s music industry. Delivered through a mix of performance development, creative practice and real industry engagement, the course balances traditional music performance with opportunities to take part in songwriting, production and music business camps, live industry briefs, A&R panel events and wider networking activity across the sector. Through this course you will explore the cultural and commercial contexts of music, build your professional confidence, and create performance work that sits at the forefront of the industry. You will be paired with an industry mentor, matched to your project and specialism. They will support you throughout your studies, acting as an external source of advice, guidance and contacts, as well as potential pathways into employment. We work with a growing range of independent music partners who support our students, including Autonomy Music Group, Talentbanq Live Music Agency and Big Fish Music Partnerships, with further partners to be announced.
