What will I learn?

If you want to learn how to create powerful messages that deliver real influence create podcasts and videos, and produce social media campaigns with impact – then this is the course for you. If you feel strongly about climate change or social equality, or you want to understand the nature of celebrity and power, this course will give you the knowledge and the practical skills to turn your interests into your profession.

You’ll take a ‘behind-the-scenes’ look at the fast-moving world of communications. We’ll give you the toolkit to produce compelling public relations campaigns the confidence and expertise to handle a communications crisis, and the skills to create effective social media content. This course prepares graduates for diverse roles in today’s communications and media industry. Graduates can pursue careers as Multimedia Content Producers, Social Media Editors, Public Relations and Communications Executives, Marketing Officers, and Copywriters. The course is taught by experienced content producers, communications specialists, and working journalists to ensure students develop the skills to become a practicing media professional.

Entry requirements

For international students

96 – 120 UCAS tariff points, CCC – BBB at A levels, MMM – DDM at BTEC, or a Merit in your T-Level. English Language or Literature and Maths Grade 4/C in GCSE (or equivalent) are normally required. IELTS 6.0 overall with no less than 5.5 in any band TOEFL - Reading – 20, Writing -19, Listening – 19, Speaking – 22, Total – 80
