Summary
The Foundation Degree Computer Games Design and Development is taught in the creative city of Bristol. Bristol is a lively student city, which has a growing independent computer games and development scene.This exciting degree will give students the opportunity to specialise in a range of different media. The degree is built around a variety of different teaching and learning contexts. This course is assessed by coursework and there are no formal examinations. Students will work closely with tutors, technicians, peers, and under supervision in work-based environments and will carry out directed and self-directed work. During independent study time students will be expected to engage with essential research and prepare and complete assignments. The staff involved in teaching this degree all have industry experience. The Foundation Degree is a qualification in its own right and is equivalent to the first two years of a degree. The majority of our students will progress onto a one year top up course to complete their full degree.
