What will I learn?

The programme provides training for careers in dietetics. Registered Dietitians (RDs) are uniquely qualified to translate scientific information about food into practical dietary advice.The programme is mainly taught by academic staff from the Nutrition Innovation Centre for Food and Health (NICHE), a world-renowned research centre in the School of Biomedical Sciences. NICHE undertakes fundamental research to understand the links between diet and human development. In particular research is focused on exploring the role of nutrition and diet in obesity, cancer, heart disease, osteoporosis and ageing. NICHE researchers engage with a large number of local and international stakeholders including colleagues from the Health Service, Academia and Industry as well as the general public.
