You build a strong understanding of core electrical/electronic principles and develop the analytical, mathematical and problem-solving skills you need for professional practice.Modules include industrial electrical and electronic systems, power systems and drives, sustainability and Industry 4.0. Your degree can be decided following a discussion between you and your online project supervisor, enabling you to focus on an area of particular interest to you. Engineering design principles are integrated into the programme to foster creativity and technical proficiency in creating innovative and practical solutions. You develop the ability to plan, execute, and oversee projects, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.**After the course**: Engineers are needed across the UK and all over the world with services in high demand. Graduate engineers can seek employment in almost every sector of industry including automotive, aerospace, manufacturing, marine, medical, rail, power, processing, chemical, oil and gas, and food production. Teesside has emerged as a significant hub for renewable energy and decarbonisation efforts, particularly in offshore wind, hydrogen production and carbon capture technologies.On successful completion of this degree with at least 2.2 honours there are several postgraduate master's programmes available at Teesside University for further study.
