What will I learn?

The overall aim of this module is to ensure that the student begins to gain wider knowledge of investigations undertaken in a Cardiology Department, particularly provocative electrocardiography, pacing and cardiac catheterisation. This module will also build on earlier work to develop the themes of public health and epidemiology of cardiovascular disease, risk factors, risk assessment, primary prevention including behavioural change management. The student will be expected to develop their skills with respect to patient-centred care, ensuring that patient values ensuring that patient values guide all clinical decisions.Full-time (1 year),Part-time (2 years)9 September 2024
