Designed to improve your English language and academic skills to an appropriate level for degree study, the programme is equivalent to the first year of an undergraduate degree and will prepare you for success as you study in the UK and beyond.
You can study the International Year One programme in Hospitality and Tourism to progress to the second year of a degree at Leeds Beckett University. With an internationally tailored curriculum, this programme will prepare you with all the subject-relevant knowledge you will need to achieve your potential in your degree.
Your work will be assessed regularly through coursework assignments, presentations, essays, case studies and exams.
You are expected to attend 100% of your classes at the International Study Centre or you are at risk of losing your Student visa.
