What will I learn?

Prepare for direct entry to Year 2 of an undergraduate degree at the University of East Anglia's (UEA) School of Art, Media and American Studies. The International Year One is taught by INTO and UEA, combining expertise in the subject area and international student support to ensure you thrive in your studies. From film and TV to online media, you’ll examine a wealth of media forms. You'll also explore your own creative applications of different media, preparing for a diverse range of career paths.If you choose to specialize in film and television production, you will hone your skills using UEA’s state-of-the-art TV studio and gain an introduction to directing, camera-work, floor management and editing. If you're aiming to progress to media studies or film and television studies, you will be introduced to major debates, theories and thinkers in media studies, and explore various audio-visual and audio formats. Learn from UEA professors acclaimed for scriptwriting, producing and directing, having worked with local and international companies such as the Norwich Gaming Festival, The Walt Disney Company and HBO.
