The programme has two intakes per year in January and September, however international full-time on-campus students will commence in September only until numbers of applicants dictate the addition of a further intake.

The aim of this programme is to support lifelong learning and career development beyond the completion of the course. Employability within this programme is underpinned by both the University's Learning and Teaching Strategy (2016-2020) of which employability is a key pillar, and the University of Derby Graduate Attribute Framework.
