You will also engage in pitching ideas, curatorial and exhibition writing, as well as composing reviews and articles, all of which will help you build a professional portfolio that showcases your unique voice and style.In addition to honing your creative writing skills, this degree offers an in-depth study of English literature, where you will explore and interpret works from various historical periods and cultural backgrounds. You'll immerse yourself in vital and influential literary works, engaging with both contemporary and classic texts across a wide range of genres. The creative writing modules are designed to complement your literary studies, providing insights into the techniques and challenges faced by the authors you study, and inspiring your own creative endeavors by grounding them in rich literary traditions.This course will be delivered from The Place, our new university centre which opened in Great Yarmouth town centre in May 2025.By the end of the program, you will not only have developed sophisticated reading and writing skills but also gained valuable industry experience through real-life projects, equipping you with the essential tools to pursue a successful career in writing. This programme is not open to students requiring a Student visa to study in the UK.
