What will I learn?

This BSc Mathematics with Data Sciences combines rigorous training in mathematics with an in-depth study of data science advancements.Initially, you’ll study foundational mathematical methods and statistical theory before progressing to more advanced topics such as programming, machine learning and AI.During your studies, you’ll go well beyond exploring these topics in a theoretical way – you’ll look at the broader social science applications in economics, finance and society.The programme enables you to develop strong quantitative knowledge and data analysis skills that are highly sought after in employment. Entry requirements

For international students

For GCSEs, youll need several GCSE grades at A (or 7) and A* (or 8-9). As a minimum, we ask for GCSE English Language and Mathematics grades at B (6) or higher. Well also consider your overall GCSE subject profile.
A-levels: A*AA, with an A* in Mathematics. Where it's offered by your school or college, AS- or A-level Further Mathematics is expected to be taken and a grade A achieved. We also consider your AS grades, if available.
IB Diploma: 39 points overall, including 766 in higher level subjects, with 7 in Mathematics: analysis and approaches.
