Entry requirements

For international students

Applicants are expected to achieve AAB at A Level including Mathematics, or 6,6,5 at Higher Level in the International Baccalaureate (including Mathematics) with a minimum of 32 points overall. A minimum of three A Levels is required, with A Level Mathematics being compulsory; applicants offering an alternative qualification may be asked to demonstrate mathematical ability through a Mathematics Aptitude Test. General Studies is not normally accepted, although strong performance may be considered if conditions are narrowly missed. BTEC qualifications are considered, with the Extended Diploma requiring D*D*D* plus Distinction in Mathematics and Further Mathematics alongside successful completion of the Mathematics Aptitude Test. A BTEC Diploma in combination with A Levels requires D*D* plus grade B, with Mathematics covered either at A Level or through Maths and Further Maths units, while a BTEC Subsidiary Diploma in combination with two A Levels requires D* plus grades A and B, again ensuring sufficient Mathematics content and successful completion of the aptitude test.

*There may be different IELTS requirements depending on your chosen course.
