World events such as the Covid-19 Pandemic and Ukraine War serve to highlight the significant impact that supply chain and logistics management can have on businesses. With recognised issues in supply chains and logistics, including the generation of harmful emissions, human rights and employment abuses, and criminality, the need for smart, innovative, and responsible management is of huge importance. The MSc in Supply Chain and Logistics Management has been designed with these issues in mind and allows graduates to develop the ability to tackle them, along with other issues associated with the sector, in a contemporary setting. The course gives students the opportunity to explore practice in the context of relevant contemporary theory and research in the field of Supply Chain and Logistics Management from an international perspective, and develops their strategic vision, focusing on creative thinking and practical management. The programme recognises that all organisations, local and global, are constantly changing and seeks to ensure that managers develop the necessary knowledge and competencies to cope with this. Lectures, seminars, case studies, and guest speakers aim to provide students with a rich and thorough understanding of the subject, and the confidence to apply their subject knowledge to add value to the global business arena as they approach careers in management or consultancy. Accreditations This course has been accredited by the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), the Chartered Institute of Procurement and Supply (CIPS), and the Institute of Environment Management and Assessment (IEMA).
