Summary The School of Media and Communication's research is multidisciplinary, theoretically innovative and socially relevant. A vibrant community of postgraduate researchers is an essential part of our research culture. Full description Researchers at the School are involved in extensive networks of collaboration with academic institutions, the public sector and media industries, both within the UK and across the world. The results of the REF 2014 placed the School of Media and Communication in the top ten of all UK departments in our subject area, and ranked us third when taking into account the size of submissions (a measure called ‘research power’).
