What will I learn?

The only vision science teaching unit in Scotland, the department is unique in offering undergraduate degree programmes in Optometry and Orthoptics.Courses enable students to gain hands-on clinical experiences in our state-of-the-art Vision Centre and are accredited by the General Optical Council and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).

Entry requirements

For international students

UK honours degree 2:1 (or equivalent) or masters degree with research skills relevant to your chosen research project or PhD topic. Equivalent professional qualifications and any appropriate research experience will be considered.
