What will I learn?

Birmingham City School of Fashion and Textiles has excellent links with international brands such as Burberry, John Lewis, Adidas and Karen Millen.The School also has a history of costume design dating back to the early 20th Century and an internationally significant archive of historical dress.Based in The Parkside Building at the City Centre Campus, you will have access to a wide range of conventional and CAD facilities – including a Gerber fashion CAD suite.

Entry requirements

For international students

Students entering the two-semester Pre-Masters must produce a portfolio. Students without an academic qualification in Art and Design must submit a portfolio. Minimum of a UK Higher National Diploma (HND) or UK Diploma in Higher Education (DipHE) in a relevant subject area where appropriate, and a minimum overall grade point average (GPA) of 2.3 on the 4.0 scale, or equivalent. IELTS 5.5 (minimum 5.5).
