Entry requirements
For international students
Applicants must meet the Scottish Highers standard entry requirements of BBBB (108 UCAS Tariff points), with minimum entry requirements set at BBBC (102 UCAS Tariff points). Alternatively, applicants with BCCC (90 UCAS Tariff points) may qualify if they have successfully completed one of the following: UWS Foundation Academy, UWS Next Steps to University module, Routes for All, Top-Up, or LEAPS. Those presenting A Levels need to achieve BCC (104 UCAS Tariff points), while applicants with the Irish Leaving Certificate require H2H2H3H3. For the International Baccalaureate, a minimum of 27 points is required. Additional accepted pathways include the Scottish Wider Access Programme with Access to Humanities, Social Sciences, Life Science, Medicine, Primary Education, Medical Studies, Chemical & Biological Sciences, and Humanities. Applicants in Business and Law must have grades BBB. Relevant SQA HNC/BTEC Level 4 qualifications include Social Sciences, Social Studies, Social Care/Services, Legal Services, Police Studies, Working with Communities, Applied Science, Counselling, Care & Administrative Practice/Healthcare Practice, Coaching & Developing Sport, Early Education & Childcare, Childhood Practice, and Additional Support Needs. SQA HND/BTEC Level 5 HND qualifications in Legal Services are also accepted.
