What will I learn?

This programme consists of the major element Russian and the minor element Business Management. No prior knowledge of Russian is required. The first year will give you a broad overview of the culture, society and history of Russia. You’ll take Russian language modules at the appropriate level, from total beginner to native speaker. You’ll also study the fundamentals of economics and management. In later years, you’ll deepen your knowledge with a choice of modules in Russian politics, history, literature, film and society. Teaching of written and spoken Russian continues all the way through to your final year, combining practical language teaching with modules that explore the language in different contexts. You'll also learn about financial management, marketing, strategy and human resources, with business modules making up about one-quarter of your programme.
