What will I learn?

The BSc Sociology is an innovative, critically engaged and globally oriented degree designed for students eager to understand how societies are built, governed and transformed.

Grounded in strong sociological foundations, the programme brings theory to life through hands-on research, creative projects and real-world case studies. You will gain a deep understanding of global transformations, institutions, cultures, inequalities and technologies, examined through classical, contemporary and critical perspectives. Sociology at King’s asks ambitious questions about how the world works and provides you with the analytical and research skills to explore these questions with rigour and confidence. With London as your living sociological laboratory, you will learn to connect powerful sociological ideas to urgent global challenges - from migration and digital life to climate justice and governance.
