For students interested in communications professions - such as advertising, journalism and public relations - the path to success now starts closer to home than ever. UC Clermont College's two-year Digital Media program prepares graduates for jobs in the field and is designed to help students transition seamlessly into the communications bachelor’s degree program in UC’s College of Arts and Sciences to complete their studies.Besides offering a more accessible and affordable option to a UC communications degree, digital media Professor Andy Curran, who worked in radio and TV for 25 years, emphasizes the unique academic approach of the UC Clermont program. Courses will provide students with the media production skills they’ll need to succeed in the communications field, covering the basics of video, audio, photography, animation, illustration and web application skills, as well as a range of other communication disciplines.

This program is open to all students with a high school diploma or GED and the desire to succeed in college. Although admission is open, students accepted into the program must meet the academic standards of the program to advance to upper levels of study.
