What will I learn?

Master thermodynamics, aerodynamics and propulsion to design and develop aircraft and spacecraft. Engage in hands-on learning via the full-motion Fidelity MOTUS 622i flight simulator in Link Hall. Enhance learning and explore research opportunities through campus laboratories, the Industrial Assessment Center and subsonic and supersonic wind tunnels. Get involved in active research projects to help engineers design solutions for aircraft product development. Explore the College of Engineering and Computer Science’s 20 clubs, student organizations and professional societies like the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics. Earn a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering and an MBA from Syracuse University’s Whitman School of Management through the five-year H. John Riley Dual Engineering/MBA Program.

Entry requirements

For international students

You must be enrolled in or have graduated from an accredited secondary school. SAT/ACT scores will not be required for students applying for Spring 2026, Fall 2026, or Spring 2027 admission. Students who choose not to submit test scores will not be disadvantaged and will remain eligible for merit scholarships. Recommended high school coursework: Four years of college preparatory mathematics (including precalculus and/or calculus) Laboratory science (physics is strongly recommended but not required) Please submit at least one academic recommendation from a STEM teacher
