The ability to communicate effectively is a key element of our shared humanity. Students majoring in communication sciences and disorders prepare for professions that help people who have difficulty speaking and hearing. The study of communication disorders involves understanding the normal development of speech, language and hearing, as well as learning how to diagnose and treat communication disorders in adults and children.This Associate of Science degree program at UC Clermont College is designed to prepare students for application to the bachelor's degree program in Speech Language Hearing Sciences offered by the University of Cincinnati's College of Allied Health Sciences (CAHS).The first two years of the Speech Language Hearing Sciences program can be completed at UC Clermont College. The final two years must be completed at the UC's Uptown Campus or a combination of Clermont and Uptown Campuses.
