The University of Toledo’s Paralegal Studies program is one of the best in the nation and a model for other programs. It is approved by the American Bar Association (ABA). That’s important to future employers. Paralegals work with attorneys. They help research, write briefs and interview clients and witnesses. They work in law offices, corporate legal departments, nonprofits and government. An associate’s degree prepares you for a career. Seamless transition to bachelor’s degree UToledo’s 2+2 transition program makes it easy for anyone who already has an associate’s degree to earn a bachelor’s in Paralegal Studies with just two more years of full-time course work. Our own teaching courtroom UToledo’s Paralegal program is one of the few with a state-of-the-art courtroom/classroom. Undergraduates learn the technology skills that employers value. They also receive hands-on training in trial presentation software and courtroom technology. Hands-on learning with faculty experts Classes are taught by lawyers and judges who combine theory with practical skills.

Students with 2.0+ GPA who do not meet requirements of their chosen Bachelor degree program, but want to joint The University of Toledo, can be admitted our 2-year Associate degree programs.
