The Administrative Assistant AAS degree provides a solid foundation in general education and the in-depth technical skills needed in the changing office environment. The overall focus of the computer classes in Administrative Assistant is to provide students with quality instruction and many hours of ''hands-on'' experience at the computer. Students learn software packages that are currently used in the workplace. This program prepares you for careers in today’s office environment. Entry requirements
For international students
All foreign credentials must be evaluated. Admission requires a general evaluation stating credential is equivalent to that of a U.S. high school or U.S. college or university. All evaluations must be completed by a member of the National Association of Credential Evaluation Services (NACES) or American Association of Collegiate Registrars and Admissions Officers (AACRAO). Please note: Some evaluation services require translation from a translation service. In order to have foreign college credit count towards the completion of a program at a college of the Alamo Colleges District, students must submit a course by course evaluation.
