What will I learn?

As an archaeology student, you will study the history of human cultural development, from the stone tool and cave art of early modern homo sapiens through the growth of complex pre-industrial agricultural societies. You will learn analysis and field investigation techniques while taking courses that cover survey, excavation, preservation, and cataloging of artifacts and human remains from historic and prehistoric sites.

Entry requirements

For international students

International students applying to Catholic University must have successfully completed a university preparatory course of study at a secondary school (a minimum of 12 years of primary and secondary school training comprising the equivalent to a U.S. high school diploma).

Acceptable Test Scores

TOEFL - 80 Internet (should have at least 20 out of 30 in each category); 150 Paper; 213 Computer.

IELTS - 6.5 (individual test module scores are also reviewed in addition to the overall score to ensure proficiency)
