You will complete media core courses general education courses like English, math, and science general electives in any area across the University and courses in specific focus areas related to your interests. WVU will convert applicants academic results into a U.S. grade point average (GPA) on a maximum 4.0 scale. Freshman applicants with a converted GPA of at least 2.5 on a 4.0 scale can be admitted, although some majors may have higher GPA requirements for direct entry.
