What will I learn?

The Early Childcare Education and Programming (ECP) curriculum is designed to prepare graduates to work in a variety of early care and education programs that serve young children and their families. Some of the programs are childcare centers and homes, infant/toddler and preschool programs, Head Start programs, and before and after-school programs for children ages birth to eight. The curriculum is 100% online and flexible by nature to accomodate working adults. The ECP curriculum is designed to provide content for the final two years of a student's program the content is focused specifically on topics directly relevant to the major. This is an online program offered through a collaboration of universities called IDEA: and Online Higher Education Alliance. The program within IDEA is known as Early Care and Education for a Mobile Society.

Entry requirements

For international students

High school GPA requirement: Equivalent to a minimum 3.0 on a 4.0 scale. For more information on equivalency calculations. Core course requirements: Along with the GPA requirement, students must complete a minimum set of high school core courses, including four years of English (or their native language), three years of science with at least two years of laboratory science in biology, chemistry, and/or physics, three years of mathematics including algebra and geometry, and two years of social studies.
