What will I learn?

he BS/MS ("2 plus 3") BCBT program is an accelerated program that allows students of appropriate academic ability and maturity to complete both a B.S. and a M.S. in Biochemistry and Biotechnology in five years of full time study. The program allows students to apply 12 of the 30 M.S. credit hours towards the B.S. (per the approval of the College of Arts and Sciences), reducing the overall required hours for the two. Students will pay graduate credit hour tuition for all courses applied to the graduate degree. All other requirements for the B.S. and M.S. degrees remain in effect.Awarding of DegreesBoth degrees (the B.S. and M.S.) will be awarded when all requirements for the entire program have been completed. In other words, the B.S. and M.S. degrees will be simultaneously awarded at the completion of study.Students who officially withdraw from the BS/MS Dual BCBT Degree Program and who have successfully completed all of the requirements for the B.S. degree will be awarded the B.S. degree.

Entry requirements

For international students

Current high school students: Provide transcripts for all years completed so far. High school graduates: Submit your final transcripts along with your degree certificates or exam results. College or university students: Send us your university transcripts to date. If you have completed more than 24 credit hours at a university, you do not need to submit high school transcripts.
