What will I learn?

The study of how people use their resources. Economists consider a range of factors, among them labor, land, investment, money, income, taxes, interests and spending. Our program will equip you with the analytical tools required for conducting high-quality research and applying economic principles to decisions made in business, government and daily life. Our students develop a fundamental understanding of human behavior and master analytical techniques required to expand knowledge in the industry and research sectors.HighlightsThe department also offers the Bachelor of Science in Economics through the Spears School of Business where students combine studies of economics with business courses in marketing, management, accounting and other business disciplines.
