What will I learn?

Explore the richness of the Spanish language and culture with a Spanish Language and Culture emphasis. A Spanish Language and Culture emphasis seeks to develop a broader understanding of Hispanic cultures. In addition to improving speaking listening reading and writing our courses expose students to historical literary and social artifacts of Spanish-speaking cultures. Prior Language Experience The Modern Languages Retro-Credits Program rewards students for significant prior language experiences such as high school coursework or language spoken at home. Students who desire credit for language proficiency they acquired before coming to PSU should consult with the Modern Languages faculty.
