What will I learn?

The general concentration of the music major provides a solid foundation in musicianship, as well as fundamental studies in music performance. As a liberal arts degree program, the music major provides students with options for choosing elective coursework that fits their personal interests. Students follow either the instrumentalist or vocalist track of the general concentration, depending on their primary performance area. The music major is also a good option for students who wish have a second major or minor, besides music.
