What will I learn?

In today’s rapidly evolving media landscape, artificial intelligence (AI) is transforming how organizations engage in advertising, public relations, and sports branding. From automating repetitive tasks to enhancing audience targeting, content generation, analytics, creativity, and campaign planning, AI is becoming essential to the field. While AI tools are now widely accessible and enable anyone to create with ease, this accessibility also raises the stakes for strategic oversight. Critical thinking, ethical decision-making, and responsible management are more important than ever-particularly for those in leadership roles. This concentration prepares students to use AI ethically, responsibly, efficiently, and creatively across media and communication contexts. Through hands-on projects and real-world tools, students gain experience applying AI in audience analysis, media strategy, content development, and data-informed decision-making. With a strong emphasis on empathy, strategic thinking, and responsible innovation, the program equips students to lead in a fast-changing media environment-where technology and human insight must work together to shape meaningful communication.
