In today’s technology-driven world, the need for skilled professionals with an in-depth knowledge of network and computing systems is higher than ever. The Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science at City University of Seattle provides a solid foundation in all areas of computer science, including data programming, web development, information technology, system analysis, and more.
The Bachelor of Science in Applied Computer Science (BSACS) program provides students with the knowledge, skills, and competency to participate in applying Computer Science to specific domains successfully. Topics include object-oriented, functional, and statistical programming, network, operating systems, database, web application, discrete math for data structures and algorithms, system analysis and design, cybersecurity, human-computer interaction, and cyber ethics required to deliver Applied Computer Science projects, as well as maintaining the professional skills needed to advance in the Technology and Computing field. Students will be able to have the option to pursue a specialized study in Cybersecurity, Data Science, and Information Technology to advance the Applied Computer Science Technology and Computing fields.
This applied computing program is based on certificate programs for Cisco Certified Network Associate, Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer, and Certified Information Systems Security Professional.

City University of Seattles undergraduate degree and certificate programs are open to applicants who hold high school diplomas or the equivalent, Students can apply to the program with a minimum of a high school diploma or GED.
Official transcripts and diplomas from all colleges and universities previously attended, and official certified translations where necessary.
Copy of the identification page of the student passport.
Current bank statement and sponsor statement if applicable.
Copy of study permit and/or any other official document issued by Canadian authorities if the student is already in Canada.
Proof of medical insurance (private first 3 months, provincial healthcare option thereafter).
Documentation related to any legal name change, if applicable.
