The UIndy program gives students hands-on archaeological training and experience, largely with North American materials. By graduation, you will be prepared to dig and work professionally anywhere in the world And while the emphasis is on field training and methodology, you will also benefit from training in both theory and method.
The UIndy Department of Anthropology faculty understand that their students need as much real-world experience and as many networking opportunities as possible in order to excel in the fields of anthropology and archaeology.
