What will I learn?

Wilmington University’s Behavioral Science program cultivates leaders and problem-solvers prepared to work in the business, education, government, human services, and nonprofit sectors. Studies in human behavior and society focus on the impact of diverse social issues, environments and cultural influences on individual and large group behaviors.You’ll develop an in-depth understanding of human behavior based on psychological, cultural anthropological, philosophical, and sociological points of view. Hands-on learning experiences and opportunities for internships/co-ops thoroughly prepare students for careers in the business, nonprofit, government, education and human services sectors. You’ll gain an understanding of contemporary global and local issues that require complex solutions through studying family, group and cultural dimensions of behavior, as well as ethics, research, and program evaluation. Courses are led by seasoned, caring faculty with broad professional experience outside of the classroom.

Entry requirements

For international students

Copy of a Valid Passport
Official transcript evaluation is required if educated outside of the U.S. or a U.S. territory. Submit official transcripts from all post-secondary schooling, such as trade and career schools, community colleges, and other universities. A high school diploma with a graduation date or GED is required for students transferring fewer than 15 credits.
