Bachelor of Science in Business Administration - Economics - Pre-Law

USA

What will I learn?

Economics is based on simple principles which are used to model decision-making in a wide variety of other fields of study. Economic principles are used to analyze and predict the both intended and unintended consequences of human action. We explore many pressing problems confronting contemporary society including development, environmental policy, education, tax structures, public health and globalization. The Economics program is designed to equip students with the analytical tools required for conducting high-quality research and applying economic principles to decisions made in business, government and daily life. Our students develop a fundamental understanding of human behavior and master analytical techniques required to expand knowledge in the industry and research sectors.HighlightsThe Center for Applied Economic ResearchThe Center for Applied Economic Research (CAER) continues the long-standing tradition of OSU economists’ involvement in public policy analysis, regional economic development and economic forecasting. CAER is home to the Oklahoma State Econometric Model, the state’s only large-scale econometric forecasting model. The Center also aims to facilitate funded opportunities for economics faculty and students to conduct applied economic research.
