What will I learn?

Hospitality and tourism is a fast-paced industry with domestic and international opportunities in management sectors including event planning, tourism, lodging management and food and beverage management. OSU has a rich tradition of preparing successful leaders for the global hospitality industry. OSU offers a business-focused curriculum, hands-on learning labs, study abroad experiences and an integrated internship component. Our students learn in new state-of-the-art facilities. Supportive faculty have diverse industry experience and students enjoy opportunities to connect with industry professionals through signature events.InternshipsStudents complete a required professional internship that provides valuable work experience prior to graduation and beneficial industry connections that lead to future employment opportunities.HighlightsOur state-of-the-art learning labs, which are specifically for hospitality and tourism management students, opened in 2016. New spaces include a quantity foods kitchen, fine dining lab restaurant, beverage education center, quick-service restaurant lab and demonstration classroom.
