This sequence allows Business Information Systems (BIS) majors to focus on business analytics. You'll develop an awareness, understand, explore, and manage significant issues confronting the field of business analytics from a multi-disciplinary perspective. The sequence immerses you in business analytics research, resources, cases, tools, and techniques from industry and academia alike. Business (data) analytics is growing quickly in organizations. It is the highest paying major after graduation for our BIS and accounting students at Illinois State. You'll learn from excellent faculty who come from diverse business backgrounds.
