What will I learn?

This program is designed for transfer students and bachelor degree holders. As a dental hygienist, you have the power to influence patients’ oral and overall health – and make them smile with confidence. This program builds on your previous college studies and combines a science-based academic curriculum with extensive clinical experience, so you’ll be well prepared to start treating patients on the first day of your new career.

During the fast tracked time frame of 16 consecutive months, you’ll have the opportunity to work alongside professional experts through clinical experiences in our prestigious on-campus clinic and community facilities. The year-round program gives you the benefit of an immersive education and prepares you for your career faster. When you graduate, you’ll hold a bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene, increasingly the preferred degree in the field, and be eligible for national and regional dental hygiene licensure examinations.

Entry requirements

For students from United States

Applicants who are in final year of secondary school or have recently graduated but not yet completed any university courses are eligible to apply for admission.

For international students

Applicants who are in final year of secondary school or have recently graduated but not yet completed any university courses are eligible to apply for admission.

Students with a bachelor's degree or the appropriate amount of college credits and prerequisites may apply to the fast track program.

Language Proficiency: MCPHS on-campus EPE – 57; TOEFL iBT – 79; TOEFL ITP – 550; IELTS - 6.5; iTEP - 4.0; PTE Academic – 58. The Admission Office accepts applications from international students on a rolling basis with priority filing dates of November 1 (Early Action I), December 1 (Early Action II), and February 1 (Regular Decision).
