What will I learn?

This program provides current educators in secondary and post-secondary trade schools or industrial programs with additional training and credentials to teach career and professional-technical programs in a variety of educational settings. Graduates can go on to teach career and technical programs in high schools, junior and community colleges, career and vocational schools or other post-secondary educational environments. You will learn to teach students the post practical skills and professional knowledge for specific occupations in industry, business, health care, trades and other fields. You will study modern instructional methods and techniques while developing your own technical competencies. Upon completion of the program, you will be eligible for career and technical endorsement in occupational education.

Entry requirements

For international students

A 2.5 grade-point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale is required from your secondary school. You must also meet criteria for admission to university-level study in your home country.
