What will I learn?

UIC's engineering physics major allows students to develop a command of physics that makes them especially competitive in roles requiring an understanding of science and theory, such as research and development positions. After going over the basics of physics, the curriculum dives into quantum theory, waves, thermal physics, quantum and theoretical mechanics, experimental physics and other topics. Degree Requirements To earn a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Physics degree from UIC, students need to complete university and college degree requirements.

High school graduates who have never attended another college or university must submit evidence of graduation from an accredited high school or submit passing scores on the General Educational Development (GED) test.
