The international studies B.S. examines how nations, institutions and cultures interact in an increasingly interconnected world. You’ll explore global political and economic systems while developing deep regional expertise through a focused area of study and an international experience tied to your region of emphasis.Coursework blends international relations, economics, statistics and geography with cultural and communication perspectives, giving you the tools to analyze global challenges from multiple angles. You’ll study the role of intergovernmental organizations and nongovernmental organizations, assess how global issues affect different regions and build strong critical thinking and research skills through advanced coursework and a senior seminar.Designed for students interested in diplomacy, international law, policy, global business, sports and international affairs, international development or graduate study, this program prepares you to understand - and engage with - complex global systems in meaningful, informed ways.

Entry requirements

For international students

A 2.5 grade-point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale is required from your secondary school. You must also meet criteria for admission to university-level study in your home country.
