Professionals in the natural resource management business work to define and defend our natural environment by helping people enjoy recreation in the great outdoors while keeping our natural areas pristine and protected. Whether you aim to promote outdoor enjoyment or develop landscapes for economic purposes, managing natural resources involves a balance. You might create business and marketing plans for responsible recreation or work on long-term strategies for economic benefits. As a natural resources enterprise management development option student, you’ll learn about day-to-day and long-term planning for natural areas and landscapes, including business and land-use management. Development is about managing activities in the outdoors. You may build a career in an outdoor business like guide services and adventure sport industries or an outdoor supply company. Or owning and operating your own natural resource based business. You’ll take courses across disciplines to give you a holistic view and balance different perspectives in the business of natural resources.

Entry requirements

For international students

A 2.5 grade-point average (GPA) on a 4.0 scale is required from your secondary school. You must also meet criteria for admission to university-level study in your home country.
