In the Sociology concentration, you examine how societies are structured and how individuals and groups interact within those structures. You’ll explore themes such as social institutions, inequality, culture, globalization, race, gender, family, and population dynamics. The curriculum encourages you to understand and critically evaluate social patterns and social issues, equipping you to teach students about how social forces shape lives, communities, and policy.
