What will I learn?

This is a practical degree for students who want to use and enhance the leadership skills they’ve developed while working. The Technical Resource Management (TRM) bachelor’s degree gives you credit for what you’ve already learned – often, the kind of learning that comes with experience. We’ve designed this program for those who’ve entered a technical career path for which a traditional bachelor’s degree may not be available. Your foundation can be an Associate of Applied Sciences degree, courses from a technical institute occupational program, military training, trade apprenticeship, or journeyman education and experience. We have made it flexible so you can take courses on campus or online. The TRM curriculum focuses on preparing technically-oriented individuals for career advancement into supervisory, leadership/management, and entrepreneurial roles in their fields of technical expertise.Foundational coursework further provides in-depth understanding and application in the fundamentals of project management, quality management, management and leadership of personnel in technical environments, data analysis, and professional communications within technical environments. This degree teaches and delivers competencies in making effective decisions in the field, not from behind a desk.
