Building Energy Modeling (Certificate)

Illinois Tech’s Certificate in Building Energy Modeling program provides students with skill sets in building energy simulation using computational tools, which has become increasingly important in the architecture, engineering, and construction industries. Students in the Certificate in Building Energy Modeling program take a minimum of three courses on topics such as building science, energy conservation in building design, building energy modeling, and building information modeling (BIM) for building performance. This program can be taken fully or partially online, primarily via asynchronous lecture recordings.
