The Doctor of Philosophy program in community resources and development offers students the opportunity to dive deep into sustainable and healthy community building, exploring critical areas such as community studies, nonprofit leadership, parks and recreation, and tourism development. Students collaborate with a diverse group of faculty members across various ASU departments, enhancing their understanding and impact on community dynamics. They gain a comprehensive knowledge base through rigorous theoretical and methodological training. Through fieldwork opportunities, students apply their learning in practical contexts, preparing them to educate the next generation of community developers.
